Weyerhof is a family-run, boutique hotel and restaurant located in the countryside of Salzburg in the Austrian Alps. With a unique view of the Habach glacier, Weyerhof sits at the entrance of Europe’s only natural emerald deposits, the Habachtals, and is first recorded as existing as early as 1130. Functioning as an inn since 1662 and family owned since 1832, Weyerhof has had a rich history of hosting guests. The surrounding buildings of the estate were once used as farms and stables for the many animals and employees. The Weyer ruin, which stands tall above the property, was a former watchtower and residence. The hotel has been carefully restored, combining the vaulted ceilings and original stone walls with modern style and accommodations, all while maintaining the cozy individuality of the rooms. The restaurant at Weyerhof values regional authenticity and local products, and is a mix of tradition Austrian cuisine, family recipes, and modern interpretations.
