  • La Pinnata del Monsù offers mountain views and deep dishes piled high with homemade pasta. Another mountain-side eatery with impressive sea views is Agriturismo Galletta. One of the most popular restaurants on the island, this is the place to go all out, with multiple courses; start with a mixed dish of Aeolian specialties, followed by fish-stuffed spaghetti all Italiana, cal amaretti stuffed with malvasia, Filante mozzarella, capers and parsley, and lamb cutlet seasoned with local spices.   • To reach this wonderful piece of paradise, the closest airports are Catania, Palermo, and Naples. Catania Fontanarossa (CTA) is the closest and suggested airport. From Catania, you will need to take a bus (approx 1.5 hours), and finally, a hydrofoil /Aliscafo (approx 1,5 hours).
