When to go

  • Avoid the cold winter months of January and February when temperatures are below zero degrees. Spring and late summer are lovely times to discover Germany's capital. July and August can be quite hot

How to get there

  • Fly either to Tegel (10 km) or Schönefeld (18 km), the latter is served by low-cost airlines, all major airlines serve Tegel
  • Berlin Central station is a knot of the european railway network and a 10 minute car ride from the hotel
  • Public transport: U8: Weinmeisterstrasse or S5, S7 & S75: Alexanderplatz
